Andrew Keen argues that there is not so much value in a web filled with homogenous UGC. He has a point, but so does Douglas Adams when he says “we search for ‘them’ out there, and all we find is a whole lot of ‘us'”. Journalism and community may be the same thing soon, but not yet. In fear of this, he eloquently waves a banner for rigourous, fact based reporting, and against anonimity and ‘1984 2.0’.
