Friday part 2:

In the Friday afternoon edition, we catch up with Sonia Hetzener (00.26) from the University of Erlangen-Nurnberg ahead of her presentation on Friday afternoon which explores e-learning applications for the older life-long learner. In particular, she tells us about how personal histories are being captured to be recreated in the plotlines and scenarios of video games.

Karyn Romeis (08.50) joins us from Learning Anorak Ltd, UK, who has been examining how the changing needs of business is resulting in new models for e-learning and training in the workplace, and how we, as employees, need to become more empowered and involved in directing and meeting our individual training needs.
