Kansas State University’s Digital Ethnography students take a day out from being awesome in research to being nice to other students in this film made by Michael Wesch’s group. Its not entirely irrelevant to their studies either – watching how people respond to good natured acts provides insight into how businesses, governments, anyone with a message can engage audiences in new ways. Reminds me of Coke’s ‘Happiness’ machine

This is the kind of tangent that keeps a team of people alive, creative, exciting, thinking laterally. Why dont we all do more of this kind of thing?
