Three years ago the TESSA (Teacher Education in Sub Saharan Africa) OER web site went live. The project created a pan-African network for content and lesson plan sharing in over a dozen languages, in partnership with the African Virtual University.
Programme director from the OU, Freda Wolfenden, narrates this short film on OpenLearn (formerly Open2.net) which reviews progress since it all started. Really great project to have been part of (I led the web site build outsourced to 3mice in Nairobi while at the BBC’s e-learning consulting division), and good to see it still doing well.
